​ After a brief meeting, Nancy Turbitt, a curated tapestry and quilt artist, will present a program titled: “Thread Intentions: Fabric as Paint.” Turbitt has exhibited internationally and received awards, including Best in Show. She is an active member of Studio Art Quilt Associates.

Carol Easton showed her saori weaving and had attendees try out a loom at our September meeting.

Our Mission:

The purpose of the East Greenwich Art Club is first to promote an interest in art and to encourage artists in East Greenwich and vicinity, particularly by encouraging the production, exhibition and sale of works of art; secondly, to aid and contribute to the furtherance of artistic education among school children by offering an East Greenwich Art Club Student Award to a deserving and talented student; and to support art education among our members.
