I'm a Rhode Island artist who loves bright colors and finds inspiration in travel and nature, mostly drawing from my interests in gardening and floral design. During the many years of teaching and life – I didn't have as much time to explore my creativity as I would have liked. However, I always found ways to incorporate art in my garden designs, class lessons, floral arranging, collage making and card designs.


For many years now, I've been experimenting with different mediums, first, with drawing, mixed media , watercolor, charcoal, ink, and now acrylic abstract.


With a love for art and music, my paintings are rhythmic, energetic, bold, lively and often fanciful.
Most of my recent work reflects a bit of playfulness and whimsy, although I'm also influenced by current events, which sometimes find their way into my paintings.

I have been on an artist's journey since college and have always maintained my interest in all the arts even when life got hectic, working full time and raising a family. I now have the time to indulge in my passion.
